If there's a gardener on your shopping list, York County master gardener Walt Przypek has just the gift to give – a citrus tree. Years ago, Przypek was given an orange seedling from a man in Poquoson. Now that tree with its unknown name, which lives outdoors, is 10 to 12 feet tall and produces good-tasting, medium-sized oranges that ripen mid-November. "The tree has survived the winters here very well and it has, produced oranges every year since," said Przypek, who has grown different forms of citrus over the last 30 years.
